Primal Carnage: Evolution OUT NOW
GEORGETOWN, TX — May 28, 2026 — Circle 5 Publishing is happy to announce that Primal Carnage: Evolution is available right now on PlayStation, priced at $19.99.
Built in-house by the Circle 5 Studios team alongside fellow indie devs Pub Games Australia, Evolution is a brand new console version of Primal Carnage, remastered - expanded - evolved. It’s the game the team always wanted to make.

There are new dinosaurs, new weapons, new special abilities, and actual in-depth lore for anyone who wants to know why exactly there are mercenaries fighting dinosaurs on a remote island chain.

A bit of history:
Primal Carnage came out in 2012 on PC and built up a solid community. The original was followed by Primal Carnage: Extinction, ported to PS4 in 2015. Unfortunately, due to the original PS4 port being published by a third party, the team was unable to give the same attention to the PS4 title. This is what gave birth to Primal Carnage: Evolution.
It's a new title, a full overhaul, and the definitive way to play Primal Carnage on PlayStation.
Circle 5 is a team of just five developers. Although veterans where dinosaur games are concerned - having contributed to Path of Titans, The Isle and more, Evolution is their first foray into pure console development. It’s been a steep learning curve, but doing right by the PlayStation audience who had waited so long felt like the right thing to do.
