Update 1.7 (Halloween 2016) Now Available

Las Vegas, NV – October 29th, 2016 – An update to Primal Carnage: Extinction has been released. The update will be applied automatically when you restart Primal Carnage: Extinction. The major changes include:

Halloween, Primal Carnage 4th Anniversary

This weekend marks four years since the original Primal Carnage was released – four years of fast-paced deathmatches, nail-biting chopper rescues and oddball hijinks To celebrate, today we launch version 1.7 of Primal Carnage Extinction, and will be running the Primal Anniversary Celebration for the next few weeks. Halloween is also in the air and brings with it a raft of new community-created cosmetics and scary time-limited deals.

But wait, there’s more! Everyone who plays Primal Carnage: Extinction during the Halloween update period will receive the Anniversary Gift, which includes a Primal Carnage 4th Anniversary Hat and a supply of crafting materials on the house.

This update features a new community crate and gift containing around 40 workshop items from the recent Halloween Workshop contest.  We were overwhelmed by the amount of fantastic entries! We’re going to look at doing more stuff like this in the future.

On behalf of the Primal Carnage Team, we thank you all for your continued support for the last four years and look forward to many more!

It’s been awhile since the PlayStation 4 version of this game has been implemented, other than the new Holiday DLC. It would be cool if in the next update, there would be the “Capture the Egg” and the more infamous “Dino Deathmatch” game modes were put into the next update, and of course, the new Island map. Just my suggestions for the next update to Primal Carnage: Extinction (PS4).
